Some portions of this site have been re-designed recently, though most of the original architecture seems to be the same. I was the sole developer on the original version of this site, full cycle. the designer was Scott McBride. Most of the pages are fully administrable and most content is being served from a MS SQL db. DHTML and javascript are used in the scrolling text areas and rollovers. the major challenge of this site was the navigation, and uses layer visibility to accomplish the effect. Before launch, we rushed the site up to production and posted a few sections as 'coming soon,' unfortunately.

This website has recently been redesigned by an new firm. In the original design shown here, I shared lead role our e-commerce pro, D Clay Smith, and it was designed by Jay Sands. Regardless of nightmare project management issues, we were able to get this site up and out the door in a relatively short time. Problems we encountered displaying a lot of text in a confined area. We overcame the problem with DHTML, scrolling text areas, which we also had to battle cross-browser issues with. This site has a administrable page for products and the photo gallery. Though the e-commerce component of the site works quite well, alcohol sales laws prohibit anyone outside of New York from purchasing this fine wine online.

Site development was lead up by Theo Borsje, designed by Mark Lanford, with illustrations done by Joel Kreiger. I was a key interface developer on the site, handling much of the slice and dice and graphic and layout changes before and since its launch in the summer of 2000. Most of the challenges on this project were server related and due to custom COM components (pre .Net) needed to run the backend.

This site used to be called Xtreme Index and doesn't seem to be up and running any longer. This fully administrable site has discussion boards, classifieds, current events, and 'up to date' listings of vendors in the world of extreme sports. This site was last re-designed by Dan Lynch with Raj Patell as lead tech. We had many hands working on this new re-design, I mostly worked on the homepage, videos, and articles sections. the challenges were definitely graphic oriented, there is a lot of tiny images and buttons with multiple states. I was in charge of updating the videos and doing ant of the graphical changes from mid-2001.

This site was mostly built while I was an intern with Faucett New Media, but I did most of the maintenance on it since early 2001. I re-faced the splash page and have added and removed communities for Lane Ccompany as an ongoing service. No real challenges with this site, and it continues to stay current through a set of admin pages accessible to Lane Company associates in charge of doing so.
